on your own.

Yukon’s Capital City)
We’ll explore Whitehorse (the Yukon’s Capital City)
and the surroundings to give you a first impression of this
wonderful country: The City Tour will include visits to the
historic train station of the White Pass & Yukon Route
railroad, the Log Skyscraper, old Log Church and the paddle
wheeler SS Klondike. You’ll view some residential areas
to get a feel for how modern day Yukoners live and stop at
the Visitors Reception Centre to learn about the Yukon’s
vibrant history and culture. Then, see Yukon Wildlife (Moose,
Caribou, Muskox, Dall Sheep, Big Horn Sheep Musk Oxen etc)
in their natural habitat at the Yukon Wildlife Preserve. After
which you can take a dip in the Outdoor pool heated by a natural
spring at the Takhini Hot Springs. And, for a treat you can
taste one of their famous desserts. Top the day with an aerial
view of Whitehorse and the beautiful Lake Laberge and Marsh
Lake.
Day 3: - Snowmobiling!!!
Just 1 hour drive from your hotel
is beautiful Fish Lake where your snowmobiling adventure will
begin. After we have been instructed on snowmobile safety you
will cross the lake and Snowmobile on some of the most beautiful
mountains you can imagine! Enjoy a nutritious lunch on the
trail and then it is back to your hotel (late afternoon).
Day 4: - Mush! Gee! Ha! - Command and mush your own dog team!
Mush the scenic Takhini River and the Ibex Valley trails West
of Whitehorse. Once you meet the dogs and learn about safe
dog mushing you’ll be assigned a team of 4-6 Dogs and
you’re off! Follow well prepared trails and your trained
guide will make sure that you are always in control of your
team. Lunch will be served along the trail when you and your
dogs are ready to rest. By late afternoon we'll return to the
kennel for a mug of coffee or hot chocolate and some great
dog mushing stories. After which we will head back to your
hotel.
